Realtime Worlds administrator out to prove that action MMO is a worthy purchase
The administrator in charge of troubled Dundee developer Realtime Worlds have released some stats that it hopes will make MMO APB an appealing purchase for a would-be buyer.
The game currently has 130,000 registered users who play the title on average for four hours every day. An average of $28 is spent per user, per month through a combination of game time and user-to-user marketplace trading.
It’s not known, however, how many of those users remain as active players of the game.
“These are healthy numbers and reflect positively on APB as a ongoing concern,” joint administrator Paul Dounis of Begbies Traynor.
“They prove this is a very enjoyable game, which is shown by the average player daily playtime and an ARPPU (Average Revenue per Paying User) that is highest of any game out there.”

Yeah, too bad the majority of those are gold spammers/farmers.
The majority playing are botters, gold spammers and just general griefers. Barely any legitimate players play APB anymore. Maybe play a game you're trying to save before selling it.
Have you ever actually played the game... i bloody doubt it! I have a total of about 250hrs and i have encountered about 2 AIMBOTTERS in that time... how can you justify a game by what you've heard from others... fair enough there might be gold farmers but come on... that isn't a reason at all not to play a game of this quality! The numbers show it all so will you all please stop griefing it with your no constructive comments and if you dont like that play WoW or MW2 cause they suck like you do!
Groove, you're being incredibly naive about it all, and very tough-headed about encountering only 2 aim-botters in your 250 hrs playtime total.
I don't think Anyone has commented saying "what I've heard is..."
In regards to hacking in the game...yes there are A LOT. So much so that RTW even made note of it in their "Road Ahead" piece that they're aware of hackers and they are trying to set up a system where hackers will be caught/banned etc. If it wasn't an issue, would they even bring it up?
In relation to 130k registered users. That's low for an MMO of this calibre. And this is only REGISTERED PLAYERS. So anyone who bought the game and played their 50hr Playtime. If they stopped after playing that, they're still accounted for as a "Registered User"
The numbers do not correlate with player base that are playing constantly.
The game is full of aimbotters. My entire clan aimbots. I have been reported dozens of times and continue to play.
