Jobs to lift lid on iPhone 4.0 tonight

But is there much left to unveil?

Steve Jobs is taking to the stage tonight at Apple's WWDC event, and its expected that he will lift the lid on the iPhone 4.0.

However, with so much controversy already surrounding the device, is there much still to learn about the iPad's forthcoming sibling?

Perhaps the answer is no. Most famously, there was the Gizmodo incident, when what is believed to be a prototype iPhone 4 left in a bar in Redwood City, disguised to look like a standard consumer 3GS, was dismantled by the website.

That blew the lid on the fact that, like an iPad, the device uses a Micro-SIM, and also made clear that the iPhone 4 includes a larger battery and higher-resolution screen.

Please, stop trying to boost the visitors to your other sites by posting almost complete copies of their news items.

If you're going to post a story, post the whole thing. Don't put 90% of it, then link to another page for the "full story". Most of the time the full story is only a couple of extra sentences.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for your input. The only reason we implement a policy of not copying entire stories from our sister-sites is to respect the original site (in many cases it would be very unfair to the original author to take a story in its entirety).

Here I served as original author and re-poster, but the policy remains.

However, we will of course consider your feedback.

Thanks,

Will
