$100,000 prize fund for Application Store Developer Challenge 2009
Samsung is now welcoming game and mobile app makers to create titles for its Application Store Developer Challenge 2009.
The inaugural event offers up to $100,000 to the winning working app, and currently welcomes developers from the UK and Italy to submit entries under eight categories: Games, Entertainment, Health/Life, E-Book, Productivity, Reference, Social networking and Utilities.
Running with a relatively short timeframe, the event runs until December 10th. Designed to offer a platform for aspiring app developers, the contest hopes to reward a creation that 'bucks the trend and delivers a unique experience'.
