Group seeks devs who can work with new tech “such as the Unreal Engine or CryEngine”
Microsoft is fast expanding its resources for Project Natal.
In the space of seven days, the company has posted a total of 15 new job vacancies on its official webpage, with each one related to Project Natal.
Microsoft says on the job postings that it is “building a new team” for the Natal division.
The firm is looking for a “wide array” of talent, seeking a senior game designer, a senior level designer, an audio director, a lead UI artist an FX artist as well as a lead environment artist.
The company has also opened vacancies for seven additional software development engineers (one lead and two in senior positions).
“We're looking for strong developers with a great track record,” said the company, “people who can learn quickly and come up to speed with the latest generation technologies such as the Unreal Engine or CryEngine.”
The full selection of job postings can be found here.
Since this is new tech which can be used in infinite different ways, do they have or are they hiring innovation staff to create new things instead of just programmers to recreate what has already been done and reducing Natal to just a new type of controller? Natal can open new doors... I know of things that can be done new myself, but they have to pay to play.
