E3'09: Sony reveals the next Final Fantasy title will be an exclusive PS3 game, coming 2010
Sony’s Jack Tretton has revealed the existence of the next iteration of Final Fantasy – and has confirmed that it will remain an exclusive title for Sony.
FFXIV will, somehow, be released in 2010. It will be released exclusively on PS3.
Tretton showed a short video of the game at Sony’s E3 press conference in Los Angeles.

Honestly, the type of kids these type of stories attract, eh?
No one even knows how the game will play. No one knows if it will be any good.
All we know right now is that FFXIII is coming and it's something that we all can appreciate.
It will also be released for Windows.
FFXIV, for me, was by far the best announcement of this year's e3. I had been waiting for the official revelation of Rapture for years.
