Make your voice heard in Develop's global Quality of Life survey
Develop has today launched an industry-wide Quality of Life survey - and we want your input.
Currently a hot topic after the IGDA board meeting and fall out from comments made by Epic’s Mike Capps, we're seeking a comprehensive view of the opinions of the people that matter: those who are most affected by crunch, and its impact on their personal life and health.
The survey takes less than five minutes, and no personal data is required, so anonymity is assured. Click here to take part.
In addition to the questions, there's also the opportunity for you to share any stories, experiences or concerns that you have about crunch in the games industry.
We'll be revealing the results soon, and also showing them to the people that matter - the organisations that represent this industry - so this is your chance to tell your side of the story.
(Results from the survey will be published in the May issue of Develop, out during the first week of May, and online shortly afterwards.)
Is there really any need to link to the survey 5 times in such a short article? In fact of all the paragraphs that make up this article there are more that have the same link in it than not. Some people will probably wonder why I've ranted about this. I'd just prefer not to be treated like an idiot is all!
The need is when your boss tells you to ;)
But, you know. It's supposed to goad you! Withering down your defences and all. :)
