Former Venom studio head joins driving game specialist
Industry veteran Peter Johnson has joined Gateshead studio Eutechnyx as excecutive producer.
Johnson has spent 25 years in the industry, including a five-year stint as studio head of Venom Games. Eutechnyx new hire is due to oversee the development of Eutechnyx’ 'next generation character-based games'.
“Eutechnyx’ driving technology is recognised as among the best in the world,” said Johnson, “My primary role is to build upon that vehicle-based know-how in order to broaden the scope of the games we’re producing. Our goal is to become not only the world leader in vehicle simulations but also a world leader in the development of character-based games.”
“Peter is a great addition to the company and we’re really happy to have him join our team,” added Eutechnyx managing director Brian Jobling. “He brings a wealth of experience with him. Peter’s attitude and knowledge complements what we’re doing and we feel fortunate in having him contribute to the exciting projects we have in the pipeline.”
He was a complete liability with Venom Games and Don King:Prizefighter, and now he's going to screw up Eutechnyx games. Big shame, hope they realise before its not too late.
good to see they wised up and kicked him out on his arse... and if mark is who i think it is, he's another bitter voice of experience of this waste of space's incompetence..
let a good studio go to hell as an external producer ran rough shod over the team, then sold them down the river for a golden handshake from take 2.. a real class act..
