Second phase winners in Unreal Tournament 3 mod competition revealed at D.I.C.E
Epic Games has announced the winners of the second phase of the Intel Make Something Unreal competition at the D.I.C.E Summit.
The winners, who share a $70,000 prize pool, include independent modding groups such as Prometheus Project and The Haunted team. The competition, which offers over one million dollars across its four phases and final event, is designed to encourage innovative gameplay and design.
“Intel is committed to unleashing developer innovation," said Elliot Garbus, vice president Intel Software and Services Group and general manager Visual Computing Software Division.
"The second phase of the $1 Million Intel Make Something Unreal Contest has delivered some of the most exciting and innovative Unreal Tournament 3 game mods ever.This contest is just one of the ways that Intel’s Visual Adrenaline developer program encourages developers and enthusiasts alike to get the most out of PC gameplay.”
The winning second phase mods will be showcased at the 2009 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco at the Intel Lounge.

“Epic’s mod contest has provided benefits for both mod authors and the game industry alike,” added Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games. “Past winners have gone on to ship commercial games using the Unreal Engine, and several former members of the Unreal mod community have found jobs either with Epic or with companies licensing the Unreal Engine."

Our idea our game is call EASY COMPANY (WWII)
the game is purley online for xbox 360, it lets the gamer get to choose and create his own soldier and side like axis and allies. then they would all be shipped off like regular soldiers first they would have to complete boot camp and then they would be chosen their rank and weapons by how well they did in boot camp and what there soldier looked like( built , skinny , or tall short)
the next step would be where they would go, depending on there rank and position ( if you were on the german team you would be preparing the attack off the shore of normandy) for more plz respond
