Talented People emerge from Vivendi closures

A group of former Vivendi employees sidelined during the Activision Blizzard merger have banded together to create a new website, Talented People.

The site is essentially a directory of the former Vivendi Games Europe employees, giving them the chance to promote their skills and knowledge. It is hoped that recruitment agencies will be able to use it to quickly find talented staff.

The current site content includes managers, accountants, developers, artists, designers, QA staff and network administrators. The team has also expressed an interest in expanding the initiative to other firms or people interested in the project.

"Our know-how being in the field of multimedia, it seemed logical to create a site which presents our profession and our new business projects," said Simon Poidevin, founder of Talented People and former executive producer at Vivendi Games Mobile.

"As a publisher of PC, console and mobile phone games, we have very different profiles to offer ranging from developers, marketing experts, sales people and administrative staff among others. Our objective is to offer recruitment agencies a site in which they can quickly find the talent they are looking for in all kinds of fields."
