Developer-publisher to use physics, animation and behaviour products for Ride to Hell
Havok can celebrate yet another large-scale licensing deal: Koch Media subsidiary Deep Silver has signed a two-year licensing deal for Havok's Physics, Animation and Behaviour solutions according to Gamasutra.
It comes only a few weeks after Microsoft negotiated a perpetual licensing agreement for both itself and associate companies. Deep Silver plans to use the tech on Ride to Hell, a multi-platform biking game set for release in spring 2009.
"Based on our long history of close collaboration with Havok, Deep Silver has managed to pull off something really fantastic by incorporating Havok into Ride to Hell," said Deep Silver EVP and managing director Hannes Seifert.
