Online game offering 'cash for kills' runs out of money and goes into receivership
Kwari, the 'cash for kills' online FPS which offered players the chance to win money by betting on their performance, has closed just a year after it launched.
The company behind game, designed in the UK but managed by Australian web firm Micro Forte, has reportedly gone into receivership.
The business had expected to make money by asking players to pay for bullets used during gameplay, but clearly the company ran out of ammo itself.
f*** you kwari for not giving the U.S. a chance! You would have made a lot of money here.
These graphics we some of the worst. I mean, Quake1 looks smoother. People would jump and you would see 4 frames.
"f*** you kwari for not giving the U.S. a chance! You would have made a lot of money here."
Have you ever had any experience of business at all? These guys have gone bust and in the process I'm betting they have lost a s*** load of cash. I am pretty sure this was an absolute last resort for them and they are gutted it has come to this. To sit there and tell say 'f*** you' is the kind of response I'd expect from a teenage pre pubesant kid. You clearly have no experience of business. When you put you c**k on the block and risk it all then you can comment, until then, grow up!
**** game is ****
f*** you alex.
Come on guys still hovering around the forums for months with nobody even being able to play in the free matches did you really think it would be back up?
Think about it this way forums full of peop[le saying they are trying to connect to the free game more than enough to reach the minimum number of players for a match do you really think the server was up this whole time? They gave up months ago.
