New Vivendi title to incorporate elements of both films in the series
Vivendi games is to release a game based on the Ghostbusters film franchise and has signed up Terminal Reality and Redfly to make the various versions, reports Variety.
The game is due for release later this year on the 360, PS3, Wii, PC, PS2 and DS with Terminal Reality (PS3, 360, PC) and Redfly (Wii, PS2) developing the respective SKUs.
Earlier this year a tech demo put together by independent Zootfly based on Ghostbusters grabbed headlines on consumer sites - however this production is unrelated.
As with your typial movie tie-in, the game has cinematic aspirations; the entire original cast – Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson – are returning to provide in-game voices for the title.
How can I contact Terminal Reality and submit an idea for online play for the new Ghostbusters game? Such as co-op play where one character uses the proton pack while the other player throws out the contraption that catches the ghosts. I think it would even be fun to have three players co-op where to use the proton pack and try not to cross the streams and the third player catches the ghost. Online play is key! And I feel that anything that is worth the excitement should be shared. It's always more fun that way.
I think Terminal Reality should create ghostbusters PS2.Why?Because it's a Sony system.Red Fly Studio should let Terminal Reality take over the PS2 version since they are developing it for PS3.Red Fly Studio should only handle the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Ds.Why?Because if they don't find a publisher Sony might want to publish the PS3 version of Ghostbusters. And they should tell Terminal Reality that they should try as good as they can for the PS2 version of Ghostbusters.Microsoft should publish the XBOX 360 just in case for release time. Now Red Fly Studio's Jeff Mills and Terminal Reality's Mark Randel should team up for the PS2 version to make it not be cartoonish.PC version I don't know who's gonna publish that but they will find a way.Well I hope they take my advise and team up just for the PS2 version of Ghostbusters.I know systems have limits to graphics but try to do better than what screenshots we've seen on websites.Mr.Mark Randel you and your crew should handle versions only for PS3,XBOX 360,PC,and PS2.Mr.Jeff Mills you and your crew should handle the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.That will make PS2 owners happy about the PS2 version of Ghostbusters.
