GDC China gains new keynote speakers

SOE’s Greg Short and Epic China’s Paul Meegan added to conference roster

The Game Developers Conference China has added two new keynote speakers to its line-up.

Greg Short, director of platform product development at Sony Online Entertainment, will present a keynote on the online game development market in China entitled ‘Embracing Disruption’.

CEO and co-founder of Epic Games China, Paul Meegan, will also give a keynote speech on his experience building a studio in China, his thoughts on successful outsourcing practices and future challenges.

“Greg Short and Paul Meegan, two of the biggest names in the games business, will provide attendees a great perspective of the games market from both a western and Chinese point of view,” said Meggan Scavio, senior conference manager, GDC China.

“With our first-class line-up of speakers, combined with the support shown from the developer and publisher community, GDC China is set to become a mainstay of the Chinese games industry calendar.”

GDC China akes place at the Shanghai International Convention Center from August 27th to 29th.
