The London Games Conference will take place during the increasingly popular London Games Festival.
UK independent developer Kuju has signed up with publisher Ghostlight for a next-gen game built with Epic's Unreal Engine.
The game, a first world war shooter, is in development at Kuju's Sheffield studio and is called To End All Wars, according to a report in today's edition of MCV, Develop's weekly sister publication.
"With the experience and knowledge of the Kuju Sheffield team tied in to the quality of the Unreal Engine 3 technology, we are certain the game will not only look incredibly realistic but will be one of the most atmospheric and engrossing games ever released on next-gen platforms," Ghostlight's head of sales Sam Collins told MCV.
"To say Kuju Sheffield and Ghostlight are excited by this game is a huge understatement."
To End All Wars is due for release next year.

I think this game could be loads better than those boring WWII games. Key word being could most of the time you'de just be sitting around in the trenches scared out of your wits. Also seeing all that suffering could ruin the game however. I look forward to the premier of this game.
i am so glad someone is developing this game please do this war some justice, i think you should be able to go over the top and have free rein to crawl around no mans land and go on trench raiding partys also, please do the reaserch on the actions of the troops who were there because there are so many games about ww2 that just never happend the way the game play is.....! please give us free rein to explore the whole enviroment becuse the consoles that are out there now give us this option and games are still sticking to the old formats where you have a small channel that you must travel down and block our exploration with trees and force you to go where you want us to go..... will be looking forward to this game with baited breath
at long last a ww1 game! this should be fantastic! (aslong as it's on the computer aswell as consoles!)this game should involve proper exploration and key events in ww1 such as the somme. I think you should be given proper freedom to the story e.g deicide wherever to go over the top and get mown down by machine guns or run away and face being shot for cowardice..this game has ALOT of options as this is prorpably the 1st ever WW1 shooter.
finally some one has the power to make a relistic ww1 game. their are so many ww2 games out their that it has just become ridiclus. i hope they build it with the intent of makeing it as realistic as possible. please dont make it americanised they were barely even their. hear are some suggestions, one the average infantry should be french or british, 2 the elite units should be dominain units such as Australian Canadian INdian (gurkhas) etc... make it a free roaming game this will give it a realistic sense. i cant wait to play this!!!!! do it justice!!

its is coming out in march now
im not bored of ww2 games at all, but i think a change to world war one is great, i hope though, that it should be a disgusting game, shellshock, gas attacks, chemical warfare, getting trapped in barbed wire, m.i.a, pow, etc. so the game would be completely realistic, and it would be great if you could choose, like who your soldier was, his background, what battles he thought in, and that you could play in the navy or as a german, because the only games ive seen where you can play as the germans are CoH and showw2, and theyre both RTS games, it should start straight away from where you go to the recruitment office,or you see a propaganda poster, and go through full training, if the game was almost impossible, that would be brilliant, however, it could just be climbing ot of a hole, shooting a few people and eating awful food, which would suck, so lts hoe th do a good job of it
you have the potential for an awesome game here! please do not go and ruin it with yet another american "hollywood" storyline. call of duty was the first war game that actually successfully acknowleged the input of other countries, not just the usa. that is why it was and still is arguably the most popular ww2 game series to date. and try not to make the british soldiers all ****ney or all the officers toffs! maybe you could choose the look of the soldier? his name? looking forward to it!
