They're looking for an ambitious VFX Artist who can help them achieve their goal of making world class in-game visual effects. The ideal candidate is someone who exhibits strong technical and artistic qualities, and relishes a good challenge. 


  • Create VFX from conception to completion for gameplay features, environmental/atmospheric ambience, and cinematic sequences 
  • Investigate, document and guide improvements to pipelines, processes and tools 
  • Coordinate, support and collaborate with teams across all aspects of development 
  • Maintain vision, quality and stylistic consistency whilst staying within budget, performance and time constraints 


  • Minimum of 2 years of VFX experience (unless able to demonstrate exceptional aptitude) 
  • Excellent capacity for analysis, observation, and problem solving 
  • Being able to create believable natural phenomena like fire, explosions, fluid/pyrotechnical behaviour as well as more abstract effects like magical or futuristic powers using a game-editor (Unreal, Unity etc.) 
  • Must have a good grasp of economy to maintain great real-time performance on target systems
  • In depth knowledge of Max or Maya, as well as Photoshop. 
  • Experience with game editors and game production processes 

Bonus Points

  • Previous shipped titles (especially AAA multiplayer) 
  • Experience with related software such as Nuke, After Effects, Houdini, FumeFX etc. 
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, LUA, JavaScript etc.) 
  • Qualifications such as a diploma or degree in relevant discipline 
  • Strong foundation in traditional art/media
