An exciting opportunity for an Unreal Engine developer to join our client, a world-leading provider of facial animation technology based at the Manchester office.
Our client is expanding, following the development of revolutionary new real time facial capture technology, which won the “Best Real-Time Graphics and Interactivity” award in 2016.
They’re looking for an experienced commercial developer with game engine experience to help create the next generation of real-time facial performance capture and animation solutions.
Lead the development of all game engine and render engine components required for Cubic Motion’s real time facial capture products.
Investigate, analyse and make recommendations to management regarding technology and software process improvements, upgrades and modifications.
Learn about / evaluate the latest technologies which may be relevant to the company’s goals.
Good degree in Computer Science or related subject.
Excellent C++ skills (preferably C++ 11/14), including multithreading.
Extensive experience in the application development using a game engine (preferably Unreal Engine).
Excellent software engineering skills in an agile development environment.
Good maths ability.
Experience with a 3D animation package (e.g. Maya, Motionbuilder).
Knowledge of image/video analysis/manipulation.
Understanding of real-time requirements and data communications
