My client is a British video gaming institution.
They have been making ground-breaking original IP since the late 90s and are still going strong almost 15 years later.
Due to their continued success, they are looking for an exceptionally talented Technical Animator to join their team on a long term contract to work on a cutting edge, genre-defining new title. Good or Evil you choose.
What you will be doing:
? Develop, maintain and optimize existing animation and character pipelines and tool sets, with particular emphasis on our in house rigging tools/workflows.
? Make recommendations and develop new solutions to improve functionality, efficiency, UX, quality, and overall workflow.
? Be responsible for the life of an asset all the way into and including the game engine.
What you will need:
? Excellent knowledge of Maya.
? Excellent knowledge of Python scripting.
? Strong understanding of Animation and Character pipelines and workflow architecture.
? Shipped at least one AAA title where you we?re at least in part responsible for the development and maintenance of character art/animation tools and pipelines, in particular rigs.
? Strong rigging ability.
