RELEASE MANAGER / SUBMISSIONS MANAGER - LONDON

Our client is a leading digital sports content and media group. Their mission is to connect the world of sport by producing the quickest, most detailed and most engaging content, and managing a network of media brands with a significant global scale.

In mid-2016, they launched an exciting new live content service to the market, revolutionising the way fans consume premium live sport. Think 'Netflix' - but for live sports.

OVERVIEW

As Release / Submissions Manager, you'll really own this business area, liaising with the software development, QA and product teams to ensure objectives and manufacturer requirements are met.

You'll work as the single point of contact with all submissions of builds to external partners - this will include new and existing partners across various platforms including console, TV and mobile manufacturers.

You'll spend your days reviewing and approving development releases, managing the process through hardware manufacture submission processes. You'll also be heavily involved with the QA team, ensuring all pre-launch defects are correctly prioritised and resolved in time to meet agreed launch dates.

EXPERIENCE

If you've been working in a Lead or Senior QA role, or as a Release or Submissions Manager, you'll have the experience you'll need. Don't worry about the title though - if you've got proven experience leading submissions processes and approvals through partners, and managing outsourced software development partners, get in touch.

ADDITIONAL 'BONUS' SKILLS

  • Knowledge of end-to-end video delivery technologies an advantage
  • German, French or Japanese language skills
  • Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance or scrum.org)
  • General interest in sport a real advantage
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with all seniority levels
