We are now working with a fantastic client who specialise in a wide range of licensed character stationery, soft collectables and collectable bears and are now looking to expand their team with a experienced and enthusiastic Senior National Accounts Manager who can drive the business forward.

Reporting into the Sales Director this role is pivotal to the company?s planned growth and very clear sales targets have been defined on which you will be expected to deliver across all brands but with particular attention paid to accounts such as Smyths, Tesco, Amazon and Argos to mention a few.

Some responsibilities include:

?Identifying, cold calling and prospecting accounts.
?Attending meetings to pitch for business.
?Preparing quotes, working through costings for ranged product, specials, bespoke ranges and FOB deals.
?Negotiating trading terms.
?Planning, costing and pitching for promotions.
?Budget and account P&L responsibility.
?Liaising with correct customer departments, including logistics, shipping, accounts, QC etc. to gather the correct operating procedures for the account.
?Making sure all departments internally are aware of the procedures for the customer and making sure these happen at timely intervals.
?Overseeing bespoke range development and liasing between the customer and product development.
?Attending and contributing to internal ranging/product development meetings.
?Attending monthly forecasting meetings.
?Forecasting on a monthly basis and gathering forecast information from customers.
?Attending trade shows at various points in the year, making sure that all appointments have been made and prepared for.

The successful candidate will ideally have a proven track record of selling similar related character licensed products within nursery, toy or gift categories and be able to demonstrate ability to nurture and grow sales across the business. We are looking for a bright and vibrant person with excellent interpersonal skills who can communicate both internally and externally, managing old accounts and enjoy developing new revenue streams too.

This role is predominantly home based with at least one day a week spent in the office in Hampshire or London.
