Senior Gameplay Programmer
OPM is working with an independent studio that is looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer to join their team on a long-term basis.
They recently released their latest title, and are looking to fill this role as part of their growth for upcoming projects.
Create and iterate on features in an existing codebase, or from the genesis of a new project using effective, re-usable, effectively structured and annotated code
Analyse, identify the causes of and resolve bugs that are provided by their QA team
Serve as a technical expert and provide input and feedback as part of a team with their other programmers in discourse on how to structure systems and resolve problems;
Communicate effectively with their design team & project leadership about the practical and technical concerns of proposed features and content, including timeframes and any relevant technical limitations.
Do you have?
Excellent C++ programming skills?
BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent)?
Unreal engine gameplay programming experience?
At least one major shipped PC title, with at least an intermediate gameplay programming credit?
Even better if you have:
Cross-platform (PC, Xbox, PS) development?
Experience with Agile software development?
