Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent online games studios, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Community Manager to join their team.

You will be responsible for all community communications related to the IP with a focus on answering key community questions and improving overall engagement, making the company and the game as community centric as possible.

 

Key Duties:

  • Create and Deliver Community Communications training across the company
  • Monitor Community Channels to identify key community questions and connect them to subject matter experts to solve community issues in real time while tracking and reporting on results
  • Produce and present reports to demonstrate improvements in engagement across the company as a result of your initiatives
  • Ensuring consistent tone and approach in community communications companywide
  • Compile subject matter experts answers into a repository of answers to support future community questions
  • Monitor and guide company communications to our players with the aim of having the most community centric company possible

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Community Manager within the games industry
  • Superb Communicator, in both written and verbal English language skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows/MS Office
  • A self-starter, with a fantastic work ethic and output
  • Ability to present clearly and confidently
  • Confident with dealing diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels of the business

 

Desirable Requirements:

  • General knowledge of online games, knowledge and understanding of games such as MOBA, DOTA style and MMORPGs an advantage
  • General knowledge and interest in the brand is a plus
  • Understanding of, and interest in competitive gaming
  • Degree in a relevant field
  • A keen gamer and understanding of the games industry
  • Project Management experience a plus
