National Account Manager, Trading Card games

Manage and oversee all IP specific Trading Card Game activities in UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, South Africa and Scandinavia in order to maximise sales and profit
Maintain regular contact with all key players in the market (distributors, tournament organisers) in order to understand current issues and advise internally on how to increase popularity, sales and profitability of
Liaise with staff at HQ to obtain product information and provide feedback
- Sales activities
o Manage sales for all releases.
o Set pricing for all markets in line with other branches; and to ensure a balance between sales and profitability.
o Produce sales forecasts for each product to ensure optimum manufacturing quantities.
o Provide product information and assets to customers.
o Get customer feedback.
o Monitor the market and search for ways to improve sales.
o Update annual sales forecast each month.
- OP activity
o Oversee all Organised Play activity in conjunction with the external agency.
o Manage external agency and gather feedback from stores and independents.
o Oversee and manage Organised Play events and attend them when necessary.
o Monitor Organised Play budgets.
- Marketing activity
o Manage and create advertising campaigns/cross promotions.
o Provide extensive plans and budget requirements to HQ.
Monitor marketing budget and revise when necessary.
o Liaise with external PR agency.
o Oversee territory's sections of IP website ensuring up to date information is posted.
1) Other Trading Card Game products.
o Continually seek opportunities for additional products and feed back to my client management with ideas.
o Look for ways to increase sales of products, in conjunction with the Video Games sales and marketing teams.
o In the event of new products, to carry out similar duties.
• Background in Trading Card games
• Significant account management experience across broad territory
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience of managing third part vendors and agencies
• Commercially aware
• International account management experience
• Highly commercial, excellent financial awareness.
• Strong communication skills
• Willing to accept being part of a lean team with the need to be hands-on at times
