This successful and established social and mobile game developer based in Paris are in process of expanding and looking for a Monetization Manager to join their team and own everything that is related to Monetization within the studio. With product managers having been overseeing monetization strategies for the products already out on the market, but no one as custodian of monetization within the company they feel it is time to have a go-to person who can both oversee the overall monetization strategy as well as work hands-on with analytics and make informed decisions based on the numbers. You will be working alongside the CEO, Marketing Director and various Product Managers within the company and work on both fine-tuning existing products already out on the market, as well develop whole new monetization systems for two games being developed currently at prototyping phase and due for release in 2014 and 2015. Your tasks on a day to day basis will be to: - Work closely with the production team to define monetization strategy - Define dashboards and statistics to evaluate the game’s performance on all networks/ platforms - Continuously analyze current monetization strategies and proposing of new ways to optimize/maximize game revenue - Provide reports and weekly progress updates to all stakeholders involved - Implement and monitor the production team in different phases of the production of the game to help define the monetization features of the games - Optimize consumer acquisition through advertising campaigns and sponsorships - Analyze competitors and benchmarking Requirements: - 3~5+ years of experience in monetizing online, social, games (mobile or Facebook or PC) - Understand key display monetization trends - Proven track record of creation of a game economy - Proven track record of managing a game economy during a running phase - Ability to understand data, work with data and propose improvement of the data system (BI) - Understand video game mechanics and gameplay - Must be a solutions-oriented thinker - Superior verbal and written communications skills In return, you will be joining a tight knit studio with a young start-up atmosphere and bursting with talented individuals, working on mid-core titles across a variety of genres and having access to an existing pool of users ranging in the 500k MAU.
