OPM are proud to be working with a games localization outsourcing company who are driven by delivering the highest possible standard of work and customer service. They are looking for a Localisation Compliance Expert to either work in-house in Dublin, Ireland or remotely.
We are searching for someone who can successfully manage translation and localization compliance projects from beginning to end, develop project plans and workflows, and manage time and quality control. We are also looking for the added value of someone who can join the exciting team and identify and document opportunities to improve processes and technologies.
Serve as an in-house expert on a range of console and mobile gaming platform requirements, working closely with our localization team and project managers to diagnose software and hardware issues and verify execution of solutions.
Conduct compliance testing with internal and external teams.
Set the highest standards for bug discovery, tracking, and detailed reproduction steps to discover critical issues and to guide additional support QA.
Develop test plans to verify game, front-end, and online content adheres to strict standards.
Strong fluency in console manufacture standards with experience working in a QA department in the video game industry
Familiarity with a wide range of consoles and mobile hardware
Experience within a QA department testing certification standards
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and creative thinking to readily offer client solutions
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, thorough, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner.
Ideal candidates will have some scripting or programming experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with working knowledge of common industry build and production tools.
