The School of Engineering and Built Environment wishes to appoint a further Lecturer (0.4FTE) in Computer Game Design to join its Department of Computer, Communications and Interactive Systems.
The Department brings together an exciting blend of skills and expertise in the development of electronic systems, software and media and is seeking additional designers and advanced practitioners whose primary interests and experience are centred on: Game Design; Game Analytics; Metric Driven Game Design; Psychology of Games Design; Game Narrative.
Applicants must have a degree in an area relevant to the post and, desirably, a higher degree in an area relevant to the post. Essential criteria for this role include substantial relevant industrial experience working in a technical role as well as experience of applied research or systems development, a strong personal desire and commitment to engage in teaching and delivering research and/or consultancy/CPD services.
