My client currently stands at over 1100 staff worldwide across various studios. They are one of the largest and most recognised game outsource partners in the world. Their track record is not short of achievements, they have worked for 18 of the top 20 game companies worldwide on large AAA, New-Gen projects in addition to shipping over 20 co-developed games on time and budget.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous Lead experience on published video games.
Experience in leading a team of 8 or more animators is ideal.
Solid experience in character and creature movement and behaviour.
Full grasp of 3D Max, Maya and Motion Builder.
Ability to convey the personality and emotions of a character through movement.
A recognised degree in Animation or Art.
Good management skills to ensure projects are completed to quality and on time.
Good English communication skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Capability to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your team and assigning tasks based on their individual skillset and growth plan.
Provide own suggestions to Animation Director on project workflow and art style.
Learn and train new tools and methods in projects.
Assist AD to deal with common issues in project.
Finish work not only efficiently, but also with high quality.
Self-review and your teams work.
Understand the modification feedbacks from Client and fix them independently.
Help Juniors and Seniors grow and fix feedback from clients.
Research on new projects or test project.
