This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Junior/Graduate Technical Artist who is looking to make the next step in their career.
To support the Technical Art team while working closely with the Art Director, Technical Directors, Technical Artists and the programming team to help with asset and pipeline optimizations, to participate in the technical art features implementation and to perform debugging on the project’s tools and processes.
Create solutions to all related technical and aesthetic issues.
Positive, solution-oriented individual with a passion for game development.
Continual improvement of processes and tools.
Advanced knowledge in Maya is preferred; Max users or equivalent 3D program will also be considered.
Bachelor’s Degree in Art or from a competitive program is preferred.
Knowledge in scripting and programming languages (Python, C# / C++, etc.).
Additional skills such as current art creation/modelling, shaders, lighting, SFX, characters and rigging creation are a plus.
Experience with Perforce, Plastic or Git is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have shipped one title on last or current generation of consoles, but not essential.
