Jobs: GUI- scripter

Our client is a leading Independent studio with an outstanding track record of producing world class titles. We are looking to appoint an experienced GUI scripter for the Swedish studio.

As a GUI Scripter, you will work to implement graphical front end and User Interface elements for one of our largest AAA projects. This will involve taking ideas from concept stage to fully implement in the build.
You will work closely with the Design team to determine the functionality and features of the User Interface, and with the code team to ensure proper coupling between in-game elements and GUI visualization.
Required Qualifications
Proven background in scripting, e.g. Action script, Lua or similar scripting language
Proven skills in merging game frontend layout design with game concept as a whole
Ability to work with several development teams, while maintaining consistency of design
Good verbal and written English skills
Desired qualifications
Prior commercial User Interface design experience on at least one released AAA game
Demonstrable appreciation of User Interface hurdles for PC versus console
Knowledge of motion design within modern game front-ends
