Jobs: Art Director

Avatar are interested in speaking to Art directors with a minimum of 5 years industry experience, 3 of which must be in an Art Director capacity. Applicants must have shipped at least 1 AAA games title as an Art Director and must be able to demonstrate their ability to drive, inspire and mentor the team in the production of an eagerly anticipated AAA title. As Art Director you will be responsible for the visual style, look and feel of the title, as well as managing the art department and ensuring the artistic vision is carried through into the game to the highest quality. You will drive, inspire and mentor the team in the execution of the visual bar. Requirements: • A minimum of 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in an Art Director capacity • Credited Art Director on a minimum of 1 shipped AAA title on a current-gen console • Ability to self manage and work in an open structured cross discipline team • Responsibility for you own actions and be able to admit your own mistakes • Contribute with innovative ideas towards all aspects of game development • Able to easily present ideas and information to the team • Ability to deliver and receive constructive feedback • Open-minded to new ideas and concepts • Analytical eye for game design
