Description

Avalanche Studios are hiring! We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sound Programmer to help create our next big action title!

Avalanche Studios is one of the leading independent, privately held studios in the world and original creators and developers of the award winning Just Cause franchise. The studio is currently in development of three AAA projects based on very well-known licenses together with three of the world’s largest and most stable publishers. We are a technology focused company that are passionate about creating great games and also focused on the well being of our employees. Things like work/life balance, Friday beer, massage during work hours and sport activities are just some of the things that make it so enjoyable being an Avalanche employee.

Avalanche Studios is located in bright and modern premises in central Stockholm, in the near surroundings you find a lot of restaurants, pubs, gyms and cinemas. It’s really easy and cheap getting here, a direct flight from London takes 2,5 hours and getting from the airport to the studio takes around 40 minutes. Since we have many non Swedish speaking employees all meetings and documentation are in English and all Swedes are very proficient in English so you will never have a problem with the language. The company offers 25 paid vacation days/year, paid overtime and a bonus system covering all employees. The turnover at the company is very low and the average time our programmers spent in the industry is 7 years, this gives a very stable company with many experienced colleagues.

Moving to Sweden is really easy and if you are an EU citizen the paperwork needed is minimal. When you come here we will help you find an apartment and sort out all questions you may have. We have many employees that moved here with their families since Sweden is the perfect place to raise children. Free schools all the way through university, 480 parental days per child, fulltime daycare for 100€/month, no need for health insurances since the healthcare is very dependable and only costs 15€/visit among many other benefits.
