My client has an impressive back catalogue of action packed console and PC games, which have won numerous awards and reached both commercial and critical acclaim. They are now looking for a Lead Technical Artist who is ready for the challenge of producing AAA titles on latest consoles and PC.
Develop procedural tools for asset creation.
Problem solving for key production issues.
Recognising pipeline issues and identifies solutions.
Developing tools & scripts for 3rd party software in Houdini and in-house tools.
Creation & maintenance of documentation for Technical Art features and tools to provide for the team.
Regularly profile scenes and highlight/address issues with relevant individuals.
Experience in developing Houdini Digital Assets.
Experience/understanding of Houdini Engine a major plus.
Understanding of Pixel & Vertex Shaders.
Knowledge of at least one of the following: HLSL or GLSL, Python, MAXScript or MEL.
Knowledge of 3dsmax, Photoshop & Unreal Engine toolsets.
Experience working on shipped titles for consoles, as Technical Artist.
