Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled programmer to work on the Graphical User Interface for our Football Manager Classic title.  In addition, this person will need relevant experience to work on the toolkit that will drive this UI. Along with these key requirements there are a number of desirable attributes candidates should posses.

Reporting into the Core Tech Lead, the successful candidate should have at least two years in a similar role and preferably have knowledge and experience of using, designing and improving UI/widget toolkits (Qt, wxWidgets, GTK+, Cocoa, Windows Forms or similar), as well as developing for and supporting multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new UI functionality
  • Refactor and improve existing UI functionality
  • Working on the game UI itself as well as the UI toolkit that drives the UI
  • Analyse, debug and fix errors


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Professional experience developing in C++
  • Good C++ programming skills
  • Good software engineering skills
  • Passion for user interface design and programming
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to work in a team and independently
  • Experience with developing for handheld devices
