Our client is a World Famous Studio and looking for a talented Environment Artist to join their Art Team. You will be working as part of a small motivated team of artists, constructing game environments from the approved concept art.
Your portfolio should show us that you?re capable of the following:
? Demonstrate Current / Next Gen quality texturing (diffuse, normal and specular maps).
? Demonstrate both hard and soft surface 3D modelling techniques.
? Demonstrate your ability to create a complex environment
? Show at least one environment demonstrating creative vision, an eye for detail, composition and visual story telling.
? Demonstrate a solid understanding of architectural structures.
It would be beneficial if your portfolio:
We?re looking for you to demonstrate these skills:
? Able to work to a high level of quality within the deadlines given.
? You?re enthusiastic, plus you have the drive and the ability to learn new processes.
? The ability to balance technical, gameplay and artistic constraints.
? You can both work independently but are also able to work with feedback and improve based on it.
? You are able to communicate ideas with others, and are able to take direction effectively.
? You have development experience on at least one shipped game.
? You can demonstrate high proficiency in the use of Photoshop.
? You are an experienced Maya user.
? You have a thorough working knowledge of modern shader models.
? You show a clear understanding of zBrush or Mudbox.
