My client is a Video Game publisher who has been established over 30 years, headquartered in Lille, France with offices across Europe, Hong Kong and the U.S.  Located a one-hour commute from major cities Paris, London and Brussels, Lille is a vibrant city with much to offer.


They are now looking to increase their game portfolio, and have a number of releases lined up in the near future. As a result of this, they are now looking for a English Community Manager to strengthen their communication toward players.


The ideal candidate will be hard-working and determined, persistent and professional, and have a can-do attitude with a naturally positive outlook. You should also have a great knowledge & passion for video games. You will be enthusiastic with exceptional organization & time management skills.



Your main role will be to manage and develop my clients’ video games notoriety and communication towards gamers over internet.


Main responsibilities:

Participate in game marketing plans by proposing community communication ideas and strategies
Build, develop and sustain gaming communities
Manage various social media channels
Plan and adapt community management activities according the development and communication schedule for each game working closely with the digital marketing team
Write creative and relevant content that will engage players and help promoting our game
Work closely with the software department team mates to ensure relevant assets and information are regularly released across the territories
Collect community feedback and share it with the team to improve our game developments and communication
Collaborate with the other Community Managers to create weekly reports which measure the effectiveness of the team’s actions.
Track our competitors Community Management activity, emerging social media trends and anything relevant that might improve our communication.



Strong knowledge of online communication
Strong background in Community Management preferably in video games / entertainment
Strong knowledge of generating and executing content calendars
Good knowledge of video games (overall) and keen interest in sports (such as handball, rugby, etc. and/or motorsports)
English speaking native with excellent writing skills, knowledge of French is a plus
Solid project management, planning and communication skills (verbal and written) are required. This includes being able to prioritize and organize a varied and full workload, and work under pressure.
Able to travel to attend fairs and other events internationally when required
Willing to relocate to France, enjoy French way of living and language
