Director of Business Development & Sales

OPM is working with a leading localization company offering translation, testing and audio services for videogames on a variety of platforms. They operate both locally and internationally with clients from many different business sectors including Games, IT, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Energy, Banking and many others.

We are currently seeking an experienced and capable Director of Business Development accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. This individual will report to the GM and will be responsible for managing sales and operations. The ideal candidate possesses superior organizational skills and sound judgment with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Provide leadership and assistance to the sales team
• Foster strong client relationships
• Create and achieve annual sales targets
• Drive language service sales to a multi-million dollar level
• Generate new leads through networking relationships
• Follow up on pipelines for business expansion
• Create and execute strategies to achieve business objectives
• Identify business drivers to associate optimal services and solutions
• Work within high pressure environments to hunt and gather new clients
• Assistance and presence at trade shows
• Monitor key performance indicators
• Create quotes for new and existing clients
• Regularly participate on client conference calls
• Identify and attend relevant conferences and events
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients

Experience required:
• Proven track record at a senior level within the games industry.
• Able to effectively communicate internally and externally both written and verbal; read and decipher materials and documents with the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information
• Excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong work ethic, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure; adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks; handle multiple assignments and be accountable for output
• Ability to anticipate needs of clients and be available at all times
• Demonstrate ability to assess circumstances and problem solve with minimal supervision while exercising diplomacy
• Professionally interface with all levels of the organization, as well as high-profile individuals, clients and vendors
• Create and implement processes that improve the effectiveness of the division and enhance productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
