They are now looking for a Business Analyst to join their team.
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to support the director of creative services to improve the process of briefing, creation and distribution of marketing assets and the effective management of marketing assets including improving aspects of
? Information security
? Asset metadata
? Project briefing & planning process
? Creative work scheduling
Key job responsibilities:
? Initial responsibility is to support the re-launch of ?ways of working? relating to a marketing asset distribution system
? Analyse user needs for asset distribution, project briefing
? Analyse usage of various IT systems in relation to marketing assets
? Provide analysis / feedback from marketing departments to creative services team
? Understand and propose improvements to metadata taxonomy
? Propose improvements to process, structure, data surrounding marketing asset creation and distribution
? Act as point of contact for external software vendors on creative services processes
? Act as internal point of contact for processes and data surrounding marketing assets
Essential Competencies & Skills:
? Able to communicate (written and verbally) competently, appropriately and effectively with a mixed audience comprising creative designers, departmental management and 3rd party software and service providers
? Understanding of the concept of metadata
? Creation of (system) user communications for non-technical audiences
? Creation of training and reference material for non-technical audiences
? Able to communicate and build relationships with a range of people in different roles, for example creative, technical staff and management.
? Able to organise and plan own work.
? Able to listen effectively and assist people in the elicitation of needs and concerns.
? Able to plan, manage and facilitate workshops.
? Able to communicate information in a range of different formats for different audiences
? Minimum of 5 years business analysis experience including:
o Process mapping (as-is and to-be)
o Process improvement
o Data analysis
? Experience in working with business functions such as marketing , IT
? Experience of working in a creative design or marketing organisation
? Experience of working with marketing asset management systems
? Ideally experienced in a start-up or loosely structured working environment
? Used to identifying business change activities and supporting the development of a change plan
? Comfortable with implementation of change e.g. communicating the updates and supporting the business until change embedded into business-as-usual Experience of modelling processes
