Do you have experience of finishing a project to ship?
OPM are working with a studio in London in need of an Assistant Producer who can help bring the project in on time.
This contract has an ASAP start and will run until the middle of November 2013.
They are looking for someone who can:
Assist in defining the development path & schedule for the game.
Define deliverable milestones in association with Producer.
Manage the schedule, delivery dates, milestones, budgetary and resource requirements with Producer and maintain effective records of such.
Ensure a common focus and direction exists within the development team and is communicated with the project stakeholders.
Maintain an effective relationship with developers by responding to and following up developer enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
- Management of internal and external teams ensuring all risks are identified and mitigated against
- Promoting progress visibility within the team
Ensure game conforms to all current QA guidelines and that QA are aware of all relevant project related issues and that QA process is executed as effectively and as efficiently as possible.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company departments necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
Skills and experience
Entire responsibility of specific areas of development, such as QA process, audio, video production, etc.
Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to promote personal and team motivation to create a united team
Define and enforce production processes as set by the Production Manager to ensure efficiency, focus and strong morale
Balance production considerations with quality and creativity in decision-making
Has an excellent understanding of the game development process and a solid knowledge of the techniques of design, art, programming, audio/video, and QA.
Able to work across multiple disciplines
