Inaugural developer event will help studios access finance, advice on how to build their studio and much more
UK games trade body TIGA is hosting a new all-day event in March to help the UK start-up game developers and independent studios grow.
TIGA’s 2014 Games Summit is supported by headline sponsor Microsoft, silver sponsor Kingston Smith, and features Develop as its media partner and Capital Enterprise as event partner.
Through a mix of 45-minute workshops, panel Q&A sessions and keynote speeches, the event will help developers from across the UK to successfully run and grow a games studio, offering step-by-step advice and examples of how to pitch to investors, improve discoverability with marketing and plenty else besides.
Attendees who wish to have a private one to one meeting with an investor are asked to email Nisha Valand (firstname.lastname@example.org) at TIGA for more information.
The TIGA 2014 Games Summit will be held at Blackhall Studios in London, on March 7th, from 9.30 to 6pm.
Lunch will be provided, with networking plus food and drinks taking place at the end of the day.
Confirmed speakers so far include Microsoft, Capital Enterprise CEO John Spindler, Team17 MD Debbie Bestwick and nDreams CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh.
TIGA members can attend entirely free, with tickets for non-member developers being sold for just £20. Find more information and register here.
