Weekend-long celebration of games returns to Switzerland
Ludicious is committed to bringing the Swiss Gaming scene together and wants to promote new game design talent from all over Europe.
The conference runs from Thursday, January 21st to Sunday, January 24th, and features speakers from some of the biggest names in games development and publishing. This year's highlights include Brenda Romero, Nintendo's Ed Valiente and World of Warcarft cinematic art director Ru Weerasuriya.
Ludicious is a networking and exchange platform for game developers. With its exhibitions, conferences and competitions, the festival will show the most innovative new games by young and upcoming studios and emerging game developers. Experienced professionals will share their knowledge and gain insights into promising new projects.
2016 marks the second edition of Ludicious. The highlight of the festival will be the award ceremony for the International Competition and Student Competition, as well as the presentation of the winner of the SGDA Swiss Games Award by the Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA).
An exhibition will showcase the games nominated for any of Ludicious’ competitions, as well as the selected projects of the Call for Projects: Swiss Games 14/15. Numerous talks and workshops will also be held during the festival.
