As the sun sets on another great GDC, we take a look at the highs and lows of the week (and a bit) that was... in pictures!

GDC 2010 kept up the conference tradition of getting some of the biggest names and studios in development to San Fran.

There were talks, drinks, revelations, complaints and the Playstaion Move.

It was hectic, and here, in photo format, is a reminder of what was GDC 2010:

Business talk loomed large this year, especially for the online and social network markets.

They worked hard, they played hard. After one or two refreshments, motion tracking went out the window at the Gamma Party...

Gabe Newell was crowned a Pioneer at the GDC awards, and had some harsh words for DRM. Sadly, Glados was unavailable for comment.

The winner of the 'Best Dressed Company Spokesperson Award' struck a cool pose.

At the 'Level Design in a Day' talk, one guest regrets that second morning coffee.

Wario's 'Game Design 101' proved less popular than expected.

Warren Spector sporting his self-designed '+1 Hearing' device, which he insists bears no similarity to any other ears people may know.

And so it ended; 2010 gone, another year of games and gaming to come! Roll on 2011.
